GUADALUPE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Finally, after twelve happy days, we are moving on.\u00a0 Guadalupe is not far away and there is a campsite a bit North of town.\u00a0 It&#8217;s in the hills and we are a bit worried that there&#8217;s not going to be much to do or see there.\u00a0 The site is supposed to have a lovely pool and good walks and cycle routes around &#8211; so off we go.<\/p>\n<p>The area around Casta\u00f1ar de Ibor is indeed hilly!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-2129\" src=\"https:\/\/tappstravels.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/20190618_110039-2556x1786-1024x716.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"489\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tappstravels.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/20190618_110039-2556x1786-1024x716.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/tappstravels.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/20190618_110039-2556x1786-300x210.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tappstravels.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/20190618_110039-2556x1786-768x537.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We make a new record at Camping Ibores.\u00a0 We are the ONLY campers on a 75 pitch site.\u00a0 I think we may have been alone on five-caravan sites in the UK on a couple of occasions.\u00a0 \u00a0But never on a &#8220;proper&#8221; because our chairs were in the middle of the track.<\/p>\n<p>Later we set off for a walk.\u00a0 We appeared to have chosen a longish path for our three mile daily exercise.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-2136\" src=\"https:\/\/tappstravels.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/PhotoPictureResizer_190623_193921515_crop_2315x1960-1024x867.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"593\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tappstravels.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/PhotoPictureResizer_190623_193921515_crop_2315x1960-1024x867.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/tappstravels.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/PhotoPictureResizer_190623_193921515_crop_2315x1960-300x254.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tappstravels.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/PhotoPictureResizer_190623_193921515_crop_2315x1960-768x650.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Camino Natural del Guadiana clearly runs for a respectable 368 km (at least!).\u00a0 That should do us!<\/p>\n<p>We visited the only swimming pool we could find open near our campsite.\u00a0 It was really just a dammed section of the local stream with a small artificial beach.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-2137\" src=\"https:\/\/tappstravels.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/20190617_174303-3628x1764-1024x498.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"340\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tappstravels.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/20190617_174303-3628x1764-1024x498.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/tappstravels.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/20190617_174303-3628x1764-300x146.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tappstravels.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/20190617_174303-3628x1764-768x373.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Not quite attractive enough to make us take off our clothes &#8211;
