&#8211; so we parked on the &#8220;carpark&#8221; area.\u00a0 As one does!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4517\" src=\"https:\/\/tappstravels.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/20231012_0932542-300x174.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"174\" exactly here last time we visited this site (in 2014) &#8211; with a view of the sheep in the adjacent field.\u00a0 The sheep are still there &#8211; or, at least, their descendants are!<\/p>\n<p>This area is home to more Bentley, Rolls Royce and Lamborghini SUVs than you can shake a stick at.\u00a0 I went to check out the Aston Martin garage in Wilmslow to see what they had to offer.\u00a0 There were only eight new models in the showroom (plus a number of &#8220;pre-loved&#8221; Astons outside, most of which were less than a year old!)<\/p>\n<p>These three examples alone came to a total of nearly a million pounds.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4518\" src=\"https:\/\/tappstravels.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/20231009_1145492-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" carefully,\u00a0 they all proved unsuitable.\u00a0 No heads-up display!\u00a0 In fact, this feature is totally unavailable on any Aston.\u00a0 I&#8217;m just going to have to look elsewhere.\u00a0 So, where exactly is the Bentley garage&#8230;?<\/p>\n<p>This part of the trip has a distinctly Cervid aspect.\u00a0 While walking in Tatton Park next to Knutsford, I found these magnificent photos with a phone camera.\u00a0 The rule is always stay behind other photographers with their 500mm lens cameras and tripods.\u00a0 I reckon that while I couldn&#8217;t outrun the stag, I could keep ahead of the others with all their gear!\u00a0 Apparently, a couple of Chinese tourists had been seen that morning, trying to get a photo of themselves touching the antlers of a resting stag.\u00a0 This time Quarry Bank at Styal, just north of Wilmslow.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4538\" the world. It was home to the mill-owning Greg family, as well as hundreds of mill workers and child apprentices.
